The ancestors of the former presidents of the USA, Theodore and Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his spouse Eleanor Roosevelt, originate from Oud-Vossemeer. This makes us really proud! Because of the special theme and the way the restaurant is decorated, Brasserie-restaurant Huys van Roosevelt is a popular attraction for people from all over the world. This also applies to bus travellers and passengers of sea and river cruises who visit the most interesting spots in the Southwest of the Netherlands. A visit to ‘The villige of Roosevelt” is o top of the list for many bus and cruise tourists.
